Our On Farm Service veterinarians provide both routine primary care and a 24 hour emergency service for equine patients throughout South Auckland and Northern Waikato.
In the busy stud season our veterinarians visit our clients daily to examine newborn foals, check mares for service and pregnancy, follow-up surgical cases, treat sick foals and reassess medical cases discharged from our hospital.
As well as routine attendance, our veterinarians are regularly called to examine lameness cases; treat and manage wounds and injuries; examine horses for export; drench, microchip, brand and vaccinate and to treat colic and respiratory conditions.
With close links with farriers, nutritionists and pharmaceutical companies, our veterinarians pass on advice and assist these allied professionals in the service they provide to our clients.
